For a long time, I had avoided travelling to Manali because I considered it to be too mainstream. And it is true that Manali is generally overcrowded, in fact, super-over-crowded in the peak season, you can get stuck in hours of traffic jams, the main tourist spots in and around Manali can get not-so-exciting to travel to. However, there are still ways in which it can become your perfect getaway from the chaotic metropolitan life. If you prefer adventurous trips and peaceful serene places you must visit this side of the country.
Just a few minutes of drive to get away from the crowds and you’ll find a side of Manali which you’ve never seen before. For a chance to get lost in the woods and the snow-clad mountains of Manali, trekking and hiking in Manali is your best option. Here is a list of few treks which you can opt for while in Manali.
Manali has several treks to choose from ranging from smaller to bigger ones. Some of them are easy and moderate to trek on, while others can be a bit tricky. If you are an amateur, you can go for the ones that are easy and moderate. But if you’ve already experienced trekking, you can go for the challenging ones.
